This is one of the backgrounds for my upcoming animated short, "The Spark" which I'm doing for my Digital Media Projects class. This is the front of the Konopiste Castle in the Czech Republic where Archduke Franz Ferdinand lived. I used several reference photos of it (mostly Google Maps Street View) and a perspective grid to make this as accurate as possible. 

 This animation will essentially be a remake and improvement on an old 3D animation of the same name I made in high school that I’m not proud of, made to depict the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, which started World War I.

This improved version will be a traditional animation in a black and white Max Fleischer style, which will depict the assassination of Franz Ferdinand in a more innocent and humorous way. The animation will be about 2-3 minutes long.

I'm really proud of this picture. My only regret is making it so detailed for a background of an animation, and it took so much time. I mean I started and (almost) finished it in one day, but still. I really need to get to the animation soon or I'll never finish it in time.


This is heavily watermarked because this animation is not finished yet and it will be monetized. It would be a big risk that this could be stolen before the video was uploaded and then I could be accused of stealing it from somewhere else.
