Don't Let Pedophiles Hijack MAP

"Keep making Multi-Animator Projects, don't let pedophiles hijack 'MAP'"

In case you haven't heard, there's MAP as in Multi-Animator project, and then there's MAP as in "Minor-Attracted Person", aka. a pedophile who wants a Tumblr label so nobody can tell them it's wrong to have sex with children.

The first time I saw a stamp trying to defend "MAPs", I thought "Who's hating on those youtube videos where people animate different parts of them? I mean I'm sure there are some trolls and haters here and there but other than that...", but then I read the description and found out they were actually referring to pedophiles. And that was how I first found out about the very real threat of the pedophile acceptance movement that is now sweeping the Internet. Pedophiles are now calling themselves "Minor-Attracted People" or "MAPs" so they can have a politically correct way to describe themselves and slip pedophilia into destigmatization.

Problem is, you have the MAP community (and I mean the Animation community) who has been around for far longer than the Minor-Attracted Person community, but now when you see the word "MAP", you think of these pedophiles. The acronym is going to have stigma added to it, which is transferred to the Multi-Animator Project community.

I've never participated in a Multi-Animator Project myself (yet, maybe I will someday, it looks like fun), but I sympathize with other animators. It's hard work, and they don't need this.

So please, kill the term "Minor-Attracted Person" before both budding and experienced animators' reputations are tarnished by associating themselves with "MAPs".
